WHAT IS THE BEST WAY/DEVICE FOR DISPERSING/DEACTIVATING EMF(electromagnetic fields) IN CELL PHONES???

Question by godlovesu3: WHAT IS THE BEST WAY/DEVICE FOR DISPERSING/DEACTIVATING EMF(electromagnetic fields) IN CELL PHONES???
It is scientifically proven that EMF radiating from cell phone and other sources interferes in the life-force of human beings! On “searches” I have read about communities which erected radio towers (?in England), many of the towns residents started getting various forms of cancers, dying prematurely, insomnia, tinnitus, DEPRESSION, STRESS, ETC, and even affecting the animals – in this case horses who lived on field very close to the towers. The horses were developing strange symptoms and dying; many without obvious causes. One town only had an am radio tower for a while and still people were getting sick and dying…the problem just got worse, after they erected an FM tower too! Cell phones emit EMF, but not suprisingly, when I went to my cell phone provider, to find devices to cancel-out the EMF (I know they exist) they (are probably trained) look at you with DUH, PUZZLED LOOKS, LIKE THEY DON’T HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT.I’m surprised they dontLIE &saythephonescurecancer!

Answer by Jcontrols
You cannot “do away” with EMF’s. They are all around you in nature itself. To eliminate EMF’s in your cell would effectively render it useless. Radio waves,no matter what part of the spectrum, are all essentially EMF’s..

Q&A: Woke up to complete hearing loss in left ear?

Question by Debra: Woke up to complete hearing loss in left ear?
Hi all I have had probs with ears since I was 11mths old, Doc’s told me i will go eventually deaf, I have a disease of the middle ear. I woke up 3 weeks ago and was completely deaf in my left ear and no it is not wax, I have tinnitus (however you spell it). The tinnitus is deff louder it is a constant loud ringing, my other symptoms are feels like pressure in my ear, constantly feel light headed, have dizziness this happens about 3-4 times a day and I have to sit down otherwise I start to feel very sick, also just above my left ear when my ear starts to hurt my head swells and can be quite painful. I have tried to get an appointment with my doc to be honest it is a complete joke you have to ring in the morning or afternoon at a certain time and there are never any empty slots, I need to know if my hearing is going to comeback or will I stay completely deaf and if the symptoms i have could be something serious?

Thank you

You are in need of a trip to the ER. This is serious enough to qualify as a medical emergency.

Q&A: burning cold feeling in my left foot serious?

Question by mia C: burning cold feeling in my left foot serious?
Im a 28 yr old female, not overweight.I do have anxiety, with tinnitus as well…I havent found out the reason for the tinnitus, but Today, for the first time I suddenly felt my left foot get a hot/cold sensation, then up to my knee it kinda feels like it wants to go to sleep.Or how it feels when it goes to sleep then starts to fade away…that type of feeling. It happened this afternoon.and is still there,I called the dr who said to come in tommarrow if it still stood tht way.I also felt like i was coming down with some sort of flu…tired, pressure headache, burning eyes.So since I have anxiety, its making me a litlle scared.I read tinnitus and this foot symptom can be poor circulation,a result from something bigger…
btw,Ive seen an ent,had a physical and blood work done, they said it came back fine…about a month ago…

Answer by ﺕ SB22 ټ
I’m glad you’re going to see your doctor tomorrow. There’s not really much we can do for you here except tell you that you’re probably fine. The cold/hot sensation in your leg COULD be from poor circulation, of course, though not very sure. I’m not a doctor, but I have had tinnitus for 5 years now, & have a strange shocking pain in my leg. I have Fibromyalgia which sucks, but I’ve seen tons of doctors & nurses & all of them tell me the same exact thing, that the tinnitus & shocks in my leg (always in the same place, comes & goes sporadically & its so bad it takes my breath away but lasts only a second or two, otherwise I’d pass out from the pain) are not symptoms of FMS, & they are ALWAYS concerned that my other symptoms are signs to other illnesses, I take tests & every one comes back saying I’m fine, so every single doctor I’ve seen ends up telling me they don’t know what its from & that’s that.

I’ve learned to live with the fact that not every symptom we have can be explained or related to an illness or something else. You may possibly be coming down with a cold or flu, & probably that’s the worst it will get for you, though no fun at all, they’re not serious & you can get antibiotics from your doc. Your doc will also be able to tell you if there’s tests you should have, if the leg feeling continues or worsens or comes back, etc. I’m just glad you’re not trying to self diagnose or want Y!A people to diagnose for you, which just causes anxiety to worsen, you’re smart to go to your doctor, you’ll be okay, try to sleep tonight & feel better tomorrow!

Take care!

Q&A: Possible side effects of a pituitary tumour?

Question by Rich: Possible side effects of a pituitary tumour?
Hello there,

I am a middle aged woman who has suspicions about a pituitary tumour. I have been diagnosed with alopecia areata, papilloma (breast leakage) and tinnitus. I was just wondering if any of these symptoms could be linked to, or be side effects of a developing pituitary tumour. Could you also suggest any possible side effects of a pituitary tumour, besides the ones I have mentioned (if they are side effects).

Also, when you post your answer could you please state whether you are a qualified medical professional etc, just so I can gauge which responses may be the most reliable.

Thanks a lot, Dawn.

Can i bring court action or sue my ex after 5 years for GBH?

Question by Az: Can i bring court action or sue my ex after 5 years for GBH?
Long story short:

5 years ago my ex boyfriend punched my face in my car after a night out. I lost my four front teeth, had a punctured ear drum, and now have panick attacks and tinnitus. My doctor did tell me i have these symptoms becuase of the attacks.

It went to court and he pleaded not guilty but the case kept getting posponed. In the end the judge threw the case out becuase there we’re no witnessess, even though there were two police men who saw me after the attack bleeding. The judge said that they both couldnt come for various personal reasons, which i found quite strange.

Ive always thought that maybe my ex boyfriend had got away with what he did becuase he is very wealthy and well respected, he used to be a part of the local conservative party ( im from the UK)

I just want to know do you think i should try to sue him again or bring any court action, is it worth it and possible?

thanks x

Best answer:

Answer by e rin thatswho
a person cannot be tried for the same crime twice. that’s called double jeopardy.
and even if you COULD bring this to court, i feel that it would be thrown out again as your testimony would no longer be reliable. Memories change over time (not saying your memory is inaccurate – it is just a general consensus that makes testimony from events that happened years prior unreliable).

Click on this cool site on www.goarticles.com The tinnitus is the name for the noise that is in your ears that may sound like bells (small and tinkling or loud and clanging) ringing or a swishing that sound like water running or air flowing. As we age, hearing loss is a strong possibility for some of us and tinnitus is just as much of a possibility. Damage to the nerve ending in the inner ear can cause tinnitus as well as hearing loss. Some of the more commons causes of tinnitus can be taking aspirin or ibuprofen; ear injuries or ear infections; and head injuries among others. Tinnitus can also be a symptom of an aneurysm or a brain tumor, although this is rare. The aneurysm or tumor is rare symptoms of tinnitus but they are a symptom nonetheless and are known as acoustic tumors.

Q&A: Do I qualify for an ARMY PEB?

Question by SPC: Do I qualify for an ARMY PEB?
I was in a military training and during the training I was involved in accident. This accident was 8 months ago. A lot has happened ever since. But to make a very long frustrating story short, this are the results from different study I have been in:

MRI Studies on my back:

T5-T6, T6-T7, and T7-T8 show small disc bulges. The disc bulges indent the anterior thecal sac and contact the spinal cord. The largest of the bulges is identified at the T7-T8 level, which also has a small focal protrusionvwhich measures approximately 5 mm at its base and extends 2 mm in AP dimension. Adequate CSF is identified posterior to the spinal cord at the level of these bulges. These bulges overall cause minimal canal stenosis. The neural foramina remain widely patent throughout.

Impressions:
1. Minimal discogenic disease within the mid thoracic spine with small disc bulges as identified above.
2. No evidence of high-grade canal stenosis.
3. Minimal anterior spondylosis.

L2-L3: There is a broad-based bulge with mild to moderate bilateral neural foraminal stenosis. There does appear to be slight impression upon the traversing nerve roots, but no significant nerve thickening or signal change.
L3-L4: Broad-based disc bulge with moderate bilateral neural foraminal stenosis. No significant sequela on the nerve roots.
L4-L5: There is a large broad-based disc bulge with moderate to severe bilateral neural foraminal stenosis. The nerve roots appear to exit without any significant impingement. No central canal stenosis
L5-S1: There is large broad-based disc bulge with central protrusion. The central protrusion does result in at least moderate grade central canal stenosis. There appears to be displacement of the traversing nerve roots with slightly more mass effect towards the left, where there appears to be slight thickening. Bulge does displace and potentially abut the nerve roots in the lateral recesses.

Traumatic Brain Injurie study:

1. He is here for TBI evaluation. Presenting symptoms include: Headaches, irritability, short-term memory loss, difficulties with concentration, insomnia, tinnitus, dizziness and balance problems, blurred vision, and nightmares. He had a mild traumatic brain injury on May 6, 2010. He is still symptomatic of mTB!.
Consult(s): -Referred To: OCC THERAPY – TBI (Routine) Specialty:
Diagnosis: TINNITUS BOTH EARS
2. memory lapses or loss: OT-TBI consult.
3. TINNITUS BOTH EARS
A straight-leg raising test of the right leg was limited at by stiffness <30 degrees.

Evaluation Of Tinnitus:

Evaluation of tinnitus DPOAE revealed robust results, bilaterally and is consistent with his most current hearing screening. Counseled SM on tinnitus management strategies and issued a tinnitus fact sheet SM is currently being follow up by behavior health and denies having any suicidal thoughts. Tinnitus Handicap Inventory was revealed a score of 60 points, Severe level, which is described as his tinnitus is "almost always heard, leads to disturbed sleep patterns and can interfere with daily activities). SM will return should as necessary to help him deal with his tinnitus. SM did express having a positive outlook towards the future and feels he can learn to manage his tinnitus.

I had a left L5-S1 microdiscectomy on jan 19. Everything seems to be going good so far. It still hurts a lot and I can barely walk, but I was told this is part of the process. In addition to this, my knees are hurting a lot but I was told to choose what to threat first. I choose my back therefore I will start treating my knees soon. I had a sleep test done and I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I have a respiratory machine to use when I sleep.

I have been trying to get to the WTB but not even in that I have the support of my chain of command. After all this I honestly don’t want to be in the military anymore. Its 7 herniated disc, surgery on my L5-S1, my knees hurt all the time, my headaches, the noise in my ears. Do I qualify for PEB? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Best answer:

Answer by Atruesoldier
I did not see what level your Profile states. If you have a P3 profile, you should have been automatically sent in for a PEB. It sounds to me that you need to speak with your Primary care doctor and see if they will submit you for a PEB. It does not have to be done by your Commander, but by your doctor. Make sure you keep a copy of all of this information you have listed here. When you do finally get your board or ETS, you will definitely qualify for the VA. I had just about all of what you have listed here and more. As long as they are service connected, you are looking at a very good VA rating.

I will help you out with the rating. If you were diagnosed with Sleep Apnea (50%), Tinnitus (10%), back rating can very,(30-60%). If you have any other issues, they will also be addressed. Trust me Tinnitus, is not that high of a rating, i have the ringing all day everyday. You do qualify, and hopefully the Army Board does not try and short change you with a low percentage. Good luck and if you need any help, feel free to contact me.

Is it even remotely possible to get Atherosclerosis at 17? :3?

Question by Mo: Is it even remotely possible to get Atherosclerosis at 17? :3?
Apparently according to my grandmother, we have a family history of Carotid atherosclerosis, and she herself has had three strokes. I get symptoms of Postural hypotension, including the numb hands, tinnitus and bad headaches in my temples/ behind my eyes. Plus I have passed out thrice in the last two months. What are the chances that I could be developing this? I’m 126 lb., 5’9 and the BMI said I was underweight… She also had epilepsy!
I notice little chest pains with shortness of breath every few hours too, but I got used to that, I never worried about it! :/
I’m not deficient on anything though, I got my blood tested the first time I passed out and he said that everything was normal. D:

Best answer:

Answer by Stephanie
More than likely you are missing folic acid, b12 and iron so I wouldnt head straight to heart disease. Your grandmother is how old now? You can eat healthy and not be like your family, your only 17.

Unfortunately in todays world kids are getting sick from the foods they drink. So if you have been unhealthy your whole life by drinking pop, high fructose corn syrup products, boxed and processed foods, energy drinks, coffee, fast foods, then yes you can have problems.

Nanno bacteria are tiny little bacteria in the blood stream that build up and form the plaque in the arteries.

Do this test first.

Iron deficency test: Go to the mirror and pull your lower eyelid and see if the color is red or flesh color. If its flesh colored you are lacking enough iron and should take a herbal iron like Floradix. It will take a month to see a difference. Iron carrys oxygen in your blood and if you dont have it you will feel tired, cold hands and feet, headaches, RLS, dull brittle hair, brittle nails, poor sleep, pale skin (see thru), shortness of breath, fatigue, poor concentration, low mood, ringing in the ears, irregular heart beats, cracks in the corner of the mouth, dizziness, fainting, sore tongue and canker sores. Add b12 and folic acid for best results

I need help with punctuation.?

Question by Duck: I need help with punctuation.?
This is a paragraph that I am supposed to correct the punctuation on…Please help……

The patient, 23, present with underlying problems with headaches migrainous in nature. She has underlying depression and was recently started on effexor seventy-five milligrams, long acting tablets, one a day by neurology and her family practice doctor. This seems to have taken care of the headaches but in the last month she has had some dizziness. Mosty when she sits or stands. It does not nother her in bed at night. It has a vertiginous component. She gets dizzy, she says it is like “riding on a merry go round.” She has these symptoms a couple times a day when she sits and leans back for awhile they go away. No accompanying tinnitus or hearing loss or other focal neurologic deficits. Symptoms of depression. Some better but not gone. She still has crying spells but not as often. Still complains of lack of motivation and lack of energy but this is better than before. She still has some early morning awakening and memory difficulties but these are some better. She takes injections of progestin or provera for birth control. Urine pregnancy test is negative.
Obviously it needs more than that but did I ask for anything else. No. The only thing I have been asked to correct is the punctuation.
